It'll be fine: you got a witness, so it's not just your word against the customer's, which normally would be bad for you.

Sometimes swallowing unfair criticism is a part of work but it can frustrating as hell.

I know you work hard to care for your sister but how long has it been since you had a boss?

Nine years. I don't miss it. She was a ginger bitch.
Also, Kiii knows I was just ribbing him.
Also also, depending on what kind of company you work for, swallowing something may indeed be part of your job... if you wanna keep it.

Basically. I haven't heard about it from my boss today so I imagine I'll probably hear about it tomorrow when I work with him. Not too worried tho.

This is accurate and I'm only saying that so TH doesn't look like a dick. I know it's just a joke. I didn't take it personally.

I aspire to be a dick one day, but I feel I have a very long way to go yet. :)
Also, as I said, you'll be fine. You have a witness and I'm sure your general office demeanour (which, from what you tell us, seems perfectly fine) will stand to you. Now, if you were Batty, I'd be looking up jobsites....

I don't think it'll be an issue. It's just frustrating that I seem to be the only employee that gets negative feedback from customers. I legit had it happen today and my coworker was right there and said the same exact thing I said, but the customer was fine. My coworker then said to me that he is not even sure why he got mad at me. It's frustrating ultimately because I'm trying to better myself and not get as anxious at work, but I find myself digging into deeper holes without even trying to. I don't know if it's me but it's frustrating. My coworkers all agree that I shouldn't be gettng the treatment from customers that I've been getting. I'm a target for whatever reason. Maybe because I have tattoos or as one customer pointed out, I have a lazy eye. But whatev. I do my best. It's all I can do.

Sorry. I'm venting. It helps.

Kiii

People are c unts

They get that whiff of vulnerability for whatever reason and just dig in

I know you know this but it’s reflection on them and humanity not you

I know that doesn’t really help you -

It’s good to learn how to deal with **** but maybe long term you should try to find something where you don’t have to endure verbal abuse from the public

Idk though

I don’t think I could do it - I’m ****ing caustic

So far I like working in the kitchen where everyone is ****ing insane so I don’t stand out

99.9% of the time my job is great. It's that .1% that can really dig into you. And I know. I totally get what you're saying. I just have to deal with it personally which isn't easy for me because I'm a very anxious person. Down the line, yeah I'm sure my job will change. But for now it's given me more than what I was anticipating. It's just every now and again it can be stressful. Again I don't wanna come off as complaining.
