If you respond to a post older than a year (roughly speaking) for no reason pertaining to a modern discussion then it's probably a necrobump.

I've heard of banging the dead (which I've had my fair share) but never bumping the dead. Good to know. Who necrobumps anyways? Sounds pretty futile.
