I remember once I was talking to a group of fourth graders here in Stockholm about the US. It blew their minds that there were things called "snow days" in the US and kids got to stay home when the roads were too icy or there was too much snow. I remember them just looking outside and just sighing (it was right after we had had a big snowstorm and there was lots of snow outside. Here we don't have snowdays as you can tell.).
