Skeezin' on a married chick is only bad if she won't get an abortion.

PoorOldPo 05-29-2013 10:53 AM

Does it count that I didn't know she was married or with the dude I was talking to at the time?

Well she definitely wasn't getting an abortion while I was around her in the spa area, and I saw her in the bar area as well and she seemed fine.

There's a big yellow ball glowing in the sky, no clouds and it's not cold out. What the hell's going on? I'm freaking out.

That's the Sun, my friend, lmao. I'm guessing you guys sent the clouds and the rain all the way here.

Yep it appears summer has just arrived. We sent the clouds and rain your way. Consider it a gift from Ireland to Canada as a gesture of goodwill :)

It's even sunny in the west? Man that's crazy! I was tempted to just leave work early and go find a beer garden somewhere, but I thought better of it.

Thats what it was like here a few days ago. There were poor, bemused people lining the streets, pointing to the skies, not sure what to do.

For a second there, I thought you were talking about the moon. A few days ago, it appeared as a massive yellow orb in the sky. I wish I had a decent camera to show how giant it was, but you could see craters and all in a deathly yellow.

Not my photo, but it looked something like this.

Gesture of goodwill, my ass! I think we got ripped off

We had so much rain yesterday evening and overnight, that major roads were completely flooded in this whole area. Like the Don Valley Parkway which is a major highway in the city, it looked like this during the morning rush hour, and for most of the day:

http://shawglobalnews.files.wordpres...0&h=473&crop=1

And that was before the water levels peaked. The Don River is on the left, and was moving super fast today. All that flood water is overflow from the river, and didn't help that it's a valley. That road is one of the main ways to get to downtown Toronto and is usually PACKED with cars, both ways. They had to bring in heavy duty water pump trucks just to get the highway open again and it took most of the day.

ladyislingering 05-29-2013 07:08 PM

my day (or morning, at least) was made significantly better due to ear plugs and medium amounts of sedatives, because screaming "shut your kid up, god damn it!" to people you hope will stay in your life is just not the kind of thing you want to do.

Frownland 05-29-2013 07:38 PM

I got an A in my Physics class mother****ers! This is such a relief because I actually thought I was going to fail or at least get a bad grade, but I wasn't ready for this, seeing as you'd find more bull**** on a farm than you would on my final. I'm celebrating .

That's a normal day in Ireland. We have to swim to get to the local supermarket to buy milk and bread.

Frownland 05-30-2013 12:16 AM

Going to Colorado River tomorrow with my best friend and one of my friends who's on leave. It'll be quite the trip, especially since we've got the means for "party favours" and we're not afraid to use them! It's been a little over a year since I've seen the guy who's coming into town, and a jam is in order since he was our main bassist years ago. This should be a pretty great trip to help wipe out whatever I learned in that physics class I mentioned earlier .

Posted on an INFP group about my faceless dog recurrent dream, and how I worked it into a play to get it out of my system, but all of my actors started to have that dream.

It was liked, weirdly, by one of my actors, who I had no clue was even on the forum or an INFP. But she served to expound the severity of said dream.

Very surreal.

Also, I'm now a (non-extra paid) mentor at work, which means I get off the phones a lot, but at no additional pay. I've not even been here a year, so it's super awesome that they seek me out.

I mean, yeah, I'd love the extra pay, but getting off the phones, even on my current pay, to teach new people? That's a goddamned blessing.

Sat in the car whilst my dad went to charity shop. He comes running over saying how there's a David Bowie record. I rush out in the rain, getting sodden only to find it's a Eurythmics record. I'm sorry, but Annie Lenox looks nothing like David Bowie. Got my hopes up only to have them dashed. Fecking brilliant.

And the bread is soggy and unusable when you get back I bet. A crying shame.

I've downloaded a ton of new music, and I just went over to a friend's house and copied a ton of HIS music onto my flash drive, which is currently being processed by my iTunes. I also downloaded an audiobook, and just bought Zen And The Art Of Motorcycle Maintenance for my Kindle. I also helped film a promo video for the program that I'm with here in Nicaragua. Tomorrow will be spent hanging out with the kids down at the dump, and then traveling for the next week or so.

It's been a good day, and it'll be a better weekend. I love my life.

Hello all. I haven't been around much since I was on a trip. I flew to Florida to help my sister move to Ohio. The drive wasn't too bad. Nothing is worse than Florida to PA, so we managed it well. However, I was only expecting to stay in Ohio for 3 days or so. Well, when I was there my sister had said she wouldn't actually know when she'd be able to take me back because she was relying on money my mom said she'd give to her. So I had to stay there until one of them could afford to get me home. On top of that, I ran out of money while I was still there. So I had to rely on my sister to get my food. No one has any damn money. I'm applying like a mad man.

djchameleon 05-30-2013 06:27 PM

Well after getting on a 10pm flight wednesday night. I finally made it home around 4pm because of one cancelled flight in the morning throwing everything else off and making me have more connections than I was expecting!

Got a brand new job today. I'll be getting paid to do the same job, with better pay and better equipment.

Suck it, current boss!

I got some fantastic news today. When I was born my grandparents on my dad's side put aside some money for me to have access to when I became an adult. It turns out that money equals a whopping £22000, which is enough for me to pay my way through a year of Uni with £13000 left over. I love life so much right now.

Wow look at you putting on the Ritz and all that. Enjoy your newfound wealth, don't piss it away on booze and travel like I did when I was 18.

Wow, that's awesome! Enjoy the extra money! My parents never set up a college fund or bonds or anything like that for me, so I am quite envious, lol.

Right now I'm calm and chilling from all of my birthday hype yesterday.
That's sarcasm.

EDIT: I didn't mean that in a here way, I meant it in a away from my computer way. If that makes sense.
Just clarifying. You guys are chill. And I dig quietness. I tell people to pretend like it's not my birthday and they don't.
