Alright, first of all, you can talk in real life. Why are you talking on a forum?

Secondly, dump her, zombie kid. This might be a **** movie, but Star Trek is Star Trek. You see Star Trek movies.

I already mentioned this in another thread, but....

So yesterday started at the DMV. I finally got a certified copy of my birth certificate, which is the one thing I didn't have to get a Washington enhanced drivers licence, which acts like a passport when driving across the US border with Canada, which means I can drive to Vancouver or take a ferry to Victoria, which I've wanted to do for YEARS. So I think this is a good day.

Then, an utterly hellish day at work. The worst yet at my current position. Fecking horrid.

So I'm finally driving home on I-5 north out of Seattle (I live in Edmonds, about 10 miles north of downtown) and I see on the electronic traffic alert signs above the freeway that I-5 is CLOSED...

...at milepost 225. *whew*. That's many miles north of me, I'll be fine.

Then I get home, and I see this news

....that is I-5, that is the way one drives to Vancouver, about halfway between myself and the border. I finally get an enhanced licence that allows me to go there, and within hours God-or-whatever-the-fuck-you-want-to-call-it, neatly severs the fecking bridge into the Skagit River. I am taking this personally. I believe that if I hadn't got the enhanced licence that bridge would be standing today and no one would have been so horrifyingly dropped into the drink

(at last word, the people that were on the bridge when it fell are all ok, their cars, not so much)

Just got home from verifying employment with an apartment landlord. We are moving into the new place on the 7th of next month. HELL YES.

I saw that on my news feed this morning and started looking at where traffic was being directed.

Woke up, went out with the family. Then, went home and ate a good meal. Then went shopping for a birthday gift for someone. Used internet rest of the day...

djchameleon 05-26-2013 12:13 AM

I witnessed two cat fights. Well, the first one was a fair fight but then the girl came back with others and basically jumped the girl the second time around. My phone got knocked out of my hands during the second fight. I didn't even care about what was going on. I usually walk away from fights instead of staying to see how it goes down and what happens. There were bits of weave all over the sidewalk. 6 cops in 4 cop cars decided to come and arrest one of the girls. The crew that jumped her actually escaped before the cops arrived. Moral of the story, I need to actually use my cell phone case that I have for protection just in case it falls.

ThePhanastasio 05-26-2013 12:26 AM

Work. Left to get to my job at 7:45. Got to work at 8:45 and proceeded to do my **** (with a one hour and fifteen minute lunch) and got off at 8:00 pm. I felt dead.

I have to go to an amusement park tomorrow, and am still waiting on Arrested Development. At least one episode before I go to sleep, and **** pst. They said 12am, which I took to be 0:00 hours, EST. Not so.

I am taking my mom, my sister, and my sister's friend to an amusement park tomorrow. My mom is bitching because there is one ride there I will not ride, and she doesn't want to ride it alone. That being the haunted house, one of two of its kind remaining in the world. I should love it, because I'm a thrillseeker, but something about it has always given me the heebie jeebies.

I attempted to ride it last year and was literally in tears. I can't ride that ****. Walk through haunted houses with people grabbing me, I'm fine. But this one...I can't do it. It's horrifying, and I can't make it through.

Exo 05-26-2013 10:30 AM

Barbeque at my friends house today. He lives on a lake community near me and we're going to roast a pig. F*ck. Yes.

Yep that's what it means lmao

Trainspotting is my favourite movie and favourite book

& I have an addiction to opiates

& a tendency to talk in codes for some reason.

My exfiancee used to do the same thing and for some reason my best friend named it "Morrissey Code" because I sound like I'm talking an entirely different language than English to someone who doesn't know me well

It's kind of like being fluent in Drunk, you can decipher anything if you're fluent in Drunk or Stoned for that matter

....jesus christ I am such a Hermione

Was in a Spa for about five hours today in Kerry(the most beautiful place in the world). Lay in a hot tub at 7:00 am with a light drizzle fall onto my face surrounded by trees and beautifully eroded coastlines. Then sweat it out in a sauna and steam room.

Had an audition with one of our local metal bands today on bass.

98% sure that I have the position sewed up as their bassist. Ive had my eye on these guys for the last year or so and I finally made my move.

The only thing is .. "Exactly when and how in the hell did I ever become a Metal Head"?

I'm not a male dude is a genderless word
I'm an AFAB gay so you can call me dude

(AFAB = Assigned Female at Birth)

djchameleon 05-27-2013 09:43 AM

I forgot my lesson learned from this song but I was just assuming that he was referring to males only.

For me dude was always a male word .

FETCHER. 05-28-2013 01:54 AM

It was a bank holiday weekend so I went out drinking on Sunday, thought I'd be smart stay up drinking when I was working at 7am so I done a 9hr shift with no sleep. Just woke up from yesterday and I feel like a new person cos I went to sleep still rough. :)

PoorOldPo 05-28-2013 06:11 AM

I was in a hot tub with this dude having a nice conversation(not gay), he was in his forties or something. Anyway, through the glass wall looking into the swimming pool, was an attractive blonde lady, maybe in her late 30's early 40's, and she kept looking around and smiling at me and giving me this look and I kept looking back and checking her out. The man was on the other side of the tub so he couldn't see. Anyway long story short, he eventually left the tub and walked inside to the blonde lady and their children and she turned out to be his wife. Now I feel bad.

Your day was so very much better than my day, I drove around trying to find somewhere that would fix my phone, gave up, went and bought some figs, made friands, drove around some more so that I could sing along to Queens Of The Stone Age, wrote a blog which won't get many views because it was about what I did today, aaaaaaaaand here I am.
