I'm not trying to say anything banworthy but it's hard not to be frustrated with his dumbass. And tbh it sounds like he's just having a bad reaction to a breakup so I don't know how deep this is gonna go. He doesn't sound like the kind of deeply unstable person who's gonna do something crazy cause his girlfriend left him.

It's kind of selfish to force somebody into a miserable existence just because you'll miss them.
