I haven't put anything up on-line since 2006 when I first started here where I'm at now, so it's interesting that these people are calling me/trying to reach out to me based on information that's over a decade old. They don't read them, they use search criteria and collate the results for cold calls.

The thing is, these head hunters get a cut of what ever the company they're hiring for is prepared to pay the person being hired. I worked for quite a few of these firms where I get $20 per hour as the hiring firm gets $30-$40. I once made a deal with a company that hired me through a staffing firm to fire me and then hire me back for $10 under what the staffing firm was getting. It blew up in my face since there was a unethical business practice clause in the contract I signed.

i used a staffing agency once to get a job and they treated like working at the company was so nice. they gave out profit sharing every quarter but it was like an extra 1500$. i worked there for only 6 months because i was working for 11.55/hr and actually employees of the company were making $15 plus for the job I was doing. i left and found a job that paid more in minnesota thou.

i get job offers now mostly from friends wondering what im doing in life. i got a career/job offer from a friend in high school that was in the military also, would have been the best job id ever received but it was in Virginia and im scared the batlord would stalk me lol

it was for the state department but honeslty i wasnt wanting to move away from friends and family, and ever since then all my ads on facebook and instagram have been for a "foreign service specialist" at the state department. not the job i was offered but i think they are on that "you can run but you cant hide bs"
