I don't want to go because dances are always broing, we have to dress up which is pain, because i'm so not up to going shopping for a dress, and going through the 3 hour getting ready process.

If I had it my way I'd sit at home, smoke, and just space out to music; unfortunately neither he nor anybody I know likes to do that.

bummer... Yeah I already have a dress for prom.... thank god I don't have to dress up for homecoming....... that sucks........

(((by all means I am not trying to give you advice you can take it or just ignore every word I am about to say)))

but if your don't want to go and your boyfriend does I would suggest that you settle some where in the middle....... Like you go over to his house or vise versa and hangout and listen to music and maybe have a few people come too or maybe just have a mini homecoming at yours or his house...... nothing super fancy or anything, something sort of special and causal.... that you will all remember and be glad you didn't go....... Maybe I should try that with my boyfriend............

Today I got up, went to school for 6 long hours, came back home because there was no football practice. Now, I'm going to get ready to go hang out with my friends around town and maybe go into the city (NYC). Nothing but an another day in the suburbs...
