I saw an empty 12 pack of Corona on the side of the road as I made my way in to work this morning. It was a relaxing drive too since there's no school bus's and people being told to self quarantine.
Last night I hit the local grocery store, just to see first hand what the hell was going on. Yup. No canned goods, no TP, and the pizza's were pretty much gone except for a few cheese ones. Lots of perishables though. Even the frozen dinners were still stocked, so I grabbed a few of those and some lunch meat. I went to go get bread and there were only three loaves of wheat bread left. There was one elderly guy standing there looking at the mostly barren shelf too, and we both looked at each other, smiled, and I gestured for him to go ahead not really caring if he grabbed them all or not. He only grabbed one and nodded to me and I did the same.
It looks like I won't be working from home either, since there's only 2 of us in my part of the office. The other dude is a bit elderly, so we're taking precautions and using common sense.

Like, literally. Dude.
I'm thinking this is all Skynet, and it created an algorithm to cut back on the world's resources with the resulting equation of a viral form of Logan's Run.
Seriously though, this is some scary ****. I hope everyone comes through the other side wiser, educated, and healthy.
