My day?

I discovered this forum recently and couple of hours ago i decided to make a thread, but, since my account is new, i can't post links to other sites before my 15th post.

So, right now i'm searching for threads where i can make short but meaningful posts without spamming.

Seven more to go :)

Welcome! Trying to reach a certain amount of posts within a short time inevitably gets spammy, although I appreciate your effort in trying to make it meaningful. Is a link really that vital to your introduction? FYI, you can posts YouTube videos without a 15 post quotum

Thanks for the welcome and for the information (i didn't know you can post YT videos right away).

I didn't want to make an introduction and the links/images are not really essential, but they will definitely make the thread a lot better. :)

Cool, I see. Just hang around in the meantime and get to know the forum, I'm curious to see the tread you have in mind

Got a few boxes of family stuff that I've been going through and apparently my great grandfather was a freemason, union boss, and some other things that my grandparents ambiguously say made him a well-respected man in his area. Makes me think he was either involved in either some mob or kkk type ****. Found his funeral book with the attendees that I'm going to look into to see if there are any clues there.

I posted some blatantly racist Sunday school materials from the 50s in the discord btw. No slave info yet, but it's a lot of scraps including stuff like WWII US propaganda, war rations, old certificates, anti-evolution poetry with pro-segregation undertones, essays on labour, and brainwashy children's materials among the regular family photos and whatnot.

Bout to write House of Leaves 2.

Had a miserable day at work, learned that my boss that taught me everything about baking from my first job passed away from pancreatic cancer in the middle of one of the worst shifts of my life, and came home to a rabbit pee mess that destroyed a good portion of my hardwood floors. At least my former boss was able to see his grandchild before he passed, but I'm drunk and crying like an idiot right now as everything just hit me. I was the last one of my extended group to see him, and when I shook his hand as I left it was so cold. I can't even imagine how his family feels right now. It was nice of my friend to hear me out and drink and smoke with me, but I just feel so empty right now.

That's horrible, I'm sorry for your loss. I hope letting your emotions out brings some relief

Thats cool he was a mason, I'm a master mason. My dad in Iowa is big into family history but I havent really got into it yet. My family is from Ireland. Masons are connected into almost every aspect of society, even the mob and KKK sadly. Albert Pike was extremely big into the KKK. Oddly every mason I have came into contact with has been an ultra good person though.

My first day back to work after 9 days on vacation. A much needed break and I'm all recharged, so lets do some drafting.

Yay.

Can I retire yet?
