But that's the problem. He's not sincerely fighting for any side. It seems to me like his talk about working class people and Art and his rich parents betrays that his whole progressive stance is mostly an attempt to distance himself from the working class, just like his parents did probably (just by a different method). I'm fond of Elph, but I don't trust his motives one bit.

Ps Bat, sorry about that manager guy. What a piece of ****.

I don’t think you have a ****ing clue what working graveyard in Texas city gas station is like. How ****ing scary and gritty and in the trenches that is. elph is a ****ing combat veteran. He’s earned the right to a bit of inconsistency. He proves himself every second he spends in there exposed and vulnerable. So I’m not hearing that hot take on elph one bit. He doesn’t have to be a cheerleader; he’s on the ****ing team.

You don’t even need to answer to that bourgeois bull****

There’s no point in even bothering to disagree. Just methodically redirect their hatred toward the rich. They’re already half way there because they got the hate. They’re pre-weaponized. Those mother****ers are loaded guns. They just need to be pointed in a new direction.

Yes, everyone who works a **** job is a class conscious Marx soldier. That's totally how it works.

They are. They just don’t know it yet.

They're not, that is not what is meant by working class and you know it.

What Bat said to this. I don't claim to know what it's like, but that's not even relevant. I'm criticising the motives behind his views, not his life, and no one 'earns' the right to be exempt from that criticism by having a gritty job. If you refuse to see beyond rich vs poor and don't allow criticism of anyone in the poor camp we can't move forward, just like we can't move forward if you distance yourself from the working class
