Icles.

If I were an ancient Greek I would call myself... Testicles.

I'd personally rather be a champagne socialist than a struggling one.

I'm responsible for cultivating the meme

but ya'll don't really know **** about what I come from

my grandparents are mostly dead but were criminals and alcoholics

that means you grew up middle class tho doesn't it

You can correct me if I get something wrong that's just how you come across to me.

I dunno I have cousins that grew up middle class and ended up suicidal etc. The judgmental side of me just looks at them as weak. But I'm sure life can be **** in the suburbs but it's defintely ****tier in the hood.

There are people who wont be happy no matter how much money they have. Then there are people who are good spirited despite being broke. But regardless of the case, it's always better to have money. That's why I'm still holding out hope that I can get out of the broke camp.

as a very wee lad I had clothes that didn't fit me, had my school lunch replaced with that plain PB sandwich (I cried) because my mom couldn't pay the bill, sat out a field trip because the $8 was too much

I grew up learning to never ask for anything because you'd be guilted very hard

my parents liked to remind us how much it sucked to have kids, probably because it really did

I guess it was a combination of the sorta obvious peacocking you do with the whole disaffected punk image combined with comments like you rejected your parents lifestyle. Or one time you said something like it really hurts the angle of being poor (I think with regard to picking up girls) when they find out your parents live in a mansion. That's what gives me that impression.

without getting called out for preaching boot straps... why do you work at a gas station then?

If you're actually hungry you'll chase a meal.
