um changing brains doesn't require evolution though

Well whether you like or not every tool that’s ever been invented is an extension of our bodies.

That’s true.

our brains develop differently based on environment

The day you tell me about any part of the environment that’s not interpreted by your consciousness I will concede that’s a relevant point.

No, what's lazy is assuming it will go away cause you don't like it

I didn't say it's impossible to replace it but I can't conceptualize a real viable alternative and it is so ubiquitous that I am skeptical that it is something that is actually going away. That's a guess based on available evidence. Not some sort of sacro sanct rule. If you have a counter-argument or an idea for what could viably replace it, but just vaguely pointing out that things can change to justify your own assumption is the definition of lazy thinking.

That technology already deeply influences human evolution.

And even though you make an important point that changing how a person thinks obviously does not require an evolutionary adaptation it’s my theory, just my theory, that it will take an evolutionary adaptation to survive as a species and it will have to involve the elimination of hierarchical social structuring and honestly I don’t think we’re going to get there. But if we do, I believe that technology will be deeply involved in that evolutionary shift.

It's new? Cause Origin the Species was a kick in the ass for eugenics.

One fun thing is that in the 1700s during the enlightenment, absolute monarchy was a thing that was argued for by the smarties and not raged against. Many enlightenment thinkers wanted absolute enlightened dictators to counteract the feckless, dickless feudal systems they'd been living under. They did not in fact imagine any sort of democracy.

talk about Casper

You experience nothing outside of your consciousness. It’s literally impossible.
