I'd like a chocolate cake to cheer me up.

im not trying to talk **** but didn't you go to college for cnc machining? and now you''re trying to write essays and draw pictures for a living lol

like i said im not talking ****. i went to community colllege for IT with an emphasis on networking and specifically networking windows domains for businesses and configuring cisco routers/switches/etc. I was damn good at it too. but before i ever found a job in that field i was forced to get a job in the meantime and got a factory job which started me off on the pills, 12 hr shifts, etc. sorta forgot about IT ever since then.

made a few gestures towards trying to get an entry level position which i'm more than qualfied for. but it seems like the IT sector is particularly on that corporate mentality where they wont touch you if you have a background. so starting to think i'm done as far as climbing the corporate ladder is concerned. if i'm gonna earn I'm gonna have to find a different path. Like i know people set up sorta ad hoc businesses providing tech support to lower-tier clients and make a decent living at that.

Like I know my dad made his own way with his concrete coating business. it was a business based on making elaborate and attractive designs to paint on a driveway/pool deck etc. and He was all under the table. warned him time after time to go legit, but he was always too paranoid about the IRS. personally i think they would've let him be and regarded him as small potatoes.

but yea... if you did have any interest in machining im literally working a temp job now that prepares you to be a machine operator. you don't need any school. all you need to do is find the right tem,p agency. they're a dime a dozen.

My dad lost all of the money he made from his business because one of the pill popping workers he hired crashed into a van and killed a family.

A warning to never cut corners.

Lucem, you're right, it's silly to talk about what I would or wouldn't do IRL. Glad you brought it up. Maybe you should write an instrumental about it. I recommend a piano paired with a clarinet. With ambient sounds of you hanging from your shower curtain you ****ing failure.
