Keeping all the orders straight and basic multitasking is the extent of the mental challenge you will face there.

At my job it's more down to troubleshooting the machine and keeping it running correctly. You can't just throw the cardboard in there any which way you please, you have to pay attention to the weight, the angle, the motions of the machine.... **** can and will **** up quite easily. It's hard for me to explain without you having any first hand experience but trust me if the task was simple enough it would already be automated. It's areas that can't so easily be generalized and programmed that are left to human workers cause the robotic engineers haven't gotten to the stage of automating that yet.

I thought the technician does the troubleshooting and not you grunts. You have to sabotage your fellow workers to get experience troubleshooting.

There is no technician.

There's maintenance... Which you call it the machine needs fixing that requires certain tools.... But there are plenty of adjustments you would've bother to call maintenance for... Calling maintenance is not that common.

Your grammar goes to **** when you're frustrated, dude.

Lol not frustrated... Drunk on tequila and bored with your interrogation... But frustrated no

Like I said I can get you a job here easily if you are that interested.

Nah, sounds mind numbing.

I've never worked in a factory like JWB describes but just based on reading the descriptions and gut feeling I think it would be "easier" to work there than fast food just because of the distinct difference in how much pressure I would feel as an employee. In the factory you just kind of do the precise yet repetitive thing over and over. Once you're established as a competent employee I bet you kind of just get to do your thing and probably even have headphones in or some **** the whole time (correct me if I'm wrong). Fast food on the other hand I have worked multiple jobs and its fast-paced as **** and there's an extreme time sensitive pressure you feel on every single order. Karen ass mother****ers will raise hell to your manager if you're going slow or screw something up. The space you have to work in is so cramped and hot and sweaty, it's just gross and miserable up in there. Working cash register is slightly better but still pretty awful.

Absolutely insane weekend. I swear we get busier every week. Finally a day off today to do nothing.
