I grew up in a town of 2000 people on an island of 8000. I liked growing up there but I wouldn't go back to live permanently. I visit a few times a year and summer is still great, but when winter comes it becomes too depressing. Really nothing to do. I don't mind peace and quiet but I still like to be able to do things (for example, there is no cinema, the only gym in the town is terrible, no pool and other city life conveniences). I'm hoping to build a house there anyway, but to spend a limited period of time per year (with my own pool and gym).

I guess all these small town bumpkins had nothing to do but listen to music and argue on the internet.

todays Figures would they be Up or Down on 2012.....
