Just got home from work.....taking a breather before going into other work!

I got offered a promotion at my job this morning. Going from working 20 hours overnights to 40+ hours as a shift supervisor, which means a raise and benefits and 401k and paid sick days/vacation.

As much as I hate midnights, I'm taking it. Not sure if I'll keep my day job though...

I got offered a job today in my old trade as a chef but the money was awful

Got home and got the news that my great-grandfather passed away last night only minutes after I (we - family) left the hospital. He was in hospice for about a week but I'm somehow still in shock. I'll be going to the wake on Friday afternoon/night, the funeral on Saturday morning. I don't know what else to say.
