I'm considering it. But could this board really use another Texan? And could a Michigander survive in Texas?
Heat is nothing compared to the unpredictable, usually cold weather of the midwest.

Another dark and cold day up here at 78 degrees north (sun never comes up this part of winter) .. Most of my friends have left this place, so I'm pretty much on my own these days. I live in a small room in an otherwise big, empty barrack.

.. So wake up, walk for half an hour in the cold down to the lab where I count bugs day after day. I got a small mp3-player that can hold a few albums, so today I listened to Caravan, Iron Maiden, Dio, Nick Drake, Spirit aaaand .. something else, can't remember.

At around 7:30 PM, I turned off the lights in the lab, didn't meet anyone on my way out, walked back to the empty barrack and sat down here in front of the computer ..

Maybe it sounds a bit depressing ..

But on sunday, I'm moving back to my girlfriend on the mainland. It'll be time for christmas vacation, meeting old friends and family and punishing my liver with fatty food and drink for a couple of weeks. It's gonna be great.

I was talking to a freshman boy who randomly came up to me school (I am a junior). So we were talking about music and stuff for a couple minutes and then out of the blue, he asks if I could sell him 'stuff'...this wouldn't piss me off if it was only the first time...

For some reason everyone considers me the drug addict/dealer of school even though I don't sell anymore. Plus there was a rumor that I did shrooms (don't do it anymore) so yeah...assholes.

You can always put on another layer of clothes, but you can't necessarily tear off your skin.

They way I see it, I can always strip to a tank top and drive down the street with my windows open. I currently do not have heat in my car, and that just plain sucks. No matter how many layers I put on, some part of me is cold, typically my face.

On a hot day in Arizona, even that doesn't help. Driving with the windows down feels like turning a hairdryer on "hot" and blowing it in your face.

School is a breeze...I dropped from 4 honors classes to two honors and two CP, and my grades are A+ A+ A- B. I do like no work too. What classes are you taking?
