I'm feeling so unmotivated in my bad right now. I'm playing three instruments in it but I think I need to just concentrate on one instrument instead of floating around doing different things. Problem is that the instrument I am best at doesn't suit the band...
Thanks, Lateralus. I actually just got back from playing with the guitar player. I still have to meet the other guys but basically I'm in. It's weird knowing just focusing on keyboard especially since I haven't been playing very long. I did a bit in my last band but bass has always been my first instrument. I'm happy though, the musics right up my alley. The guy with the folk band didn't work out over email. He wasn't thrilled to hear I rely on public transit and I think he was looking for more of a professional session guy anyway.

What three instruments are you playing in your band and which did you want to focus on?

I made some lemon squares today, they taste kind of funny though. It's probably because I didn't have any powdered sugar in the house. I'm probably starting a band with my friend that plays percussion, need to find a good singer though (preferably a chick), too bad most chicks in this area are into The Devil wears Prada and **** bands like that.

Aw that's awesome! Hope it all works out. I love starting new music projects.

At the moment I'm playing piano, guitar, and a some bass. I've been playing piano for over 10 years so it's my best instrument, but it's not really a great band instrument and doesn't suit the music we're playing. We've already got another guitarist so I'm a bit bored with guitar and I'm not very good at bass! lol... alas.

That's too bad. You seem to be enjoying the bass so far so I'm sure you'll progress quickly, especially in a band setting. Plus you have some guitar mechanics and coordination to go by so now it's just a matter of adjusting your approach and to start thinking like a bass player. By the way, what kind of music does your band play?

I shaved my hands and arms today for the first time ever. It feels strange.

Today I had my first interview applying for High School. It went pretty well I think even though this is the school I'd least like to go to out of the ones I'm considering. There was a really great campus though and the people were pretty nice

Today I took a mid-term for one of my classes. At home.

I cheated by using a subnet calculator I found on Google.
I just didn't want to work through the actual subnetting portions. I know how to do it, but it's tedious.
I do love my instructor though...
Mid-term at home? Epic win.
