Pretty fantastic way to spend a night.
You're really old now .

Yes, I will have to order them online, I just find it annoying that I went to the trouble of going in both stores to no avail. (They weren't in walking distance from eachother.)

I see your point; I think I'll mostly stop going to physical music stores from now on.

Or maybe next time call them up before you head to those stores unless you like walking.

The funny thing about it was that their websites actually said they had all the albums I wanted in stock, so I assumed they would have them in store as well... But nope.

Wow ! Never been to a pub that offered books to browse through, Mojo.

Reminds me that we used to go to pub full of old guys once. There was a special row of hooks for the glasses of the regulars - Reg, Ted and Bob had all painted their names on their own personal beer mugs. Most nights you`d hear the clack of dominoes but on the really wild nights they`d get this game out :-

We were about 19 years old at the time and these guys kind of adopted us; at the end of the evening they`d sometimes buy us beers that it was beyond our capacity to consume, and one night Ted -or it could have been Reg- leaned over and told me something in confidence that I have never been able to forget. Perhaps by sharing it here, I`ll finally be able to:-

Spoiler for Ted`s advice to a teenager:
Do it as often as you can. I still want to, even though I can`t any more.

Happy days.

Do you think you`ll still be playing it when you`re 65 though?

When we had toys like that, the bits would usually go missing. I remember reading comic books with pages torn out, clockwork trains that didn`t have a key, jigsaws you could spend hours on but never complete...
