Seriously

Stop bragging about getting A’s in a community college

Your competition is literally anyone who graduated from high school even with GEDs (I taught GED prep so I know how ****ing stupid they are)

When your instructor says you write well he’s comparing you to people who barely know the alphabet.

High school AP > community college

You’re really doing **** that kids that go to real colleges do in 10th grade and ****ing bragging about it

Stop

Lmao totally. That said, the best teachers I ever had were the uber-dedicated community college professors.

Punk band prospect is looking pretty good right now. The bassist/vocalist allegedly has a lot of connections that could get us on some tours, so you might get your chance to see me play eventually, OH. First jam session tomorrow and they ditched a dude who they said was too uptight about music which gives me hope.

I think you’re strongest alone but touring would be easier with a band.

Hopefully it's an actually cool punk-sound like what The Flesh Eaters had and not a Ramones cover band.

@OH I might do more conducting here than usual. I'll see how good of an ear these people have. It's going to be with the drummer from WISSK's Indecent Vibrations and we have pretty good chemistry, just depends on how well we can work with the new bandmate. The drummer says that he likes how they work.

@Ant Sounds like we're going to be going in a no wave/post punk direction.

Actually, I think it is smart that you are starting at a Community college instead of a private/name /state. Honestly, going to a known college is not worth it for all four years and just costs you more money in the end. Grades really mean nothing unless you want to get into a decent grad school or want to go into medicine/law/science. Many jobs you might want to make a career from are performance based and great companies /private employers don't care where you went (sometimes a degree isn't even necessary) as long as you can do the job well. Just a tip from me, a person whose school loans haunted her by wanting to go to a great, name school in the US when she was younger.

And my day is starting well as I am working on work from home on a weekend. But the weather is great.
