Wanted to quit my job so bad today because it's disorganized, and people are worrying about the small **** while the boat sinks. Came home, drank an entire bottle of wine, and I'm still not drunk enough. I really feel like I'm useless and can't help anyone, but if I drink I'm happy and want to be friends with everyone.

You're not useless. You're the only person on Earth who gets to chart everything about yourself. The only one who cares as much as you do about all the music you like and why you like it and why that one song is so interesting to you. The only one who understands how that tree or that bird nest or that crack in the road is so interesting to look at to you personally. The only one who can contemplate the fascinating pain of your toe that you just stubbed.

You are an awareness with a unique perspective and you are the only one who gets what that awareness is on about with the same level of appreciation as you.

Wasn't particularly drunk yet. But no matter how many people see Star Wars you're the only one who will ever understand exactly how you feel about it no matter how many people feel similarly and your one bright spot of Star Wars appreciation is the only thing that matters about Star Wars to you even if the opinions of others can change that appreciation in some way because until you feel that change in appreciation the opinion of that other also doesn't matter.
