Today was very much a win some/ lose some day.

My sister and I spotted incredibly cheap airfares to New Zealand in February, which means I'm going back for a visit! Which will be great because I haven't ever been to New Zealand during summer time. I can't wait, so excited.

The downside is that I won't be able to play at a gig that my band had lined up at a music festival because I'll be away. I told my band to feel free to still do the gig without me but even if they do it won't be the same and the set will lack, and I'll be really depressed that I'm not there.

Sigh.

Me and my friends woke up at like twelve t my house. we layed around for like 5 hours and then went bowling. Fun.

After staying awake for 24 hours, I slept a whole 24 hours and woke up just a couple of hours ago.

Plans for today:

-Watch Avatar at 6:40 p.m (we made some reservations yesterday)
-Read all the book I began in 2009 and never got to finish (didn't read many books this year, need to get my numbers up before the beginning of the next one).

I spent my day with my step kids playing Magic the Gathering and got my butt handed to me by a 12 year old! Sheesh... a card that doubles his life total each time he uses it! How can you beat that?

Getting stoned was overdue. It was worth it though. I hadn't smoked in so long I forgot how good it was. Then I hit the munchies so bought a munchie box, which was a god send. Then I fell asleep in my best friends best at aprox 10pm and woke at midnight!

Only 4 days left! Today I just really wanted to hang out at home and not do anything but I just don't have enough time... I was hanging out with Sarah last night and it finally really hit me that I'm actually saying good bye to everyone I've been friends with my whole life more or less for the last time. I suppose I'll be back in NoVa when I get leave for holidays and such, but it's only going to be 1 or 2 week trips back and when I get out I'm moving far away. Couple that with the fact that I've realized I've fallen very hard for her, and it's really a bit depressing... just a really weird feeling knowing I'll rarely really see these people I see now at least once every couple weeks. Sadly this has meant very little time for musicbanter and not enough for music, I'll be going through music withdrawal for 2 months

It's about 4:30 am over here. Yesterday I just caught up on sleep and did nothing considering I'd be hanging with my friends for about a week straight. Tonight i'm going to a new years party like most.
