^ If you're serious about moving, maybe consider working on a kibbutz (a commune of sorts) in Israel. I spent 2 years on various kibbutz, you'll meet all sorts of people from all over the world, you work hard and you play hard, good weather, good people, beautiful, tanned women. It's a good life. A simple life.

Reached my sales goal for the year and got my 2300 dollar bonus, YAY. Will get an additional 2000 in January if we have met the goal for profit sharing.

I'm real phobic of cult-like things, not that I believe this would be, but it seems real historical

Yup. That's it. You do all sorts of work. I was put to work in a tyre factory on one kibbutz. That was horrible, dirty, and incredibly hot work. On another kibbutz I was put to work on irrigation for 3 months. I loved that. Up at 4am, driving through the desert sat in the back of a 4x4, sun comin up, then laying miles of pipe across fields. Making the desert bloom so to speak. Really satisfying work.

But normally you'll do rotation, a week picking fruit in the orchards, a week washing dishes in the kitchens, a week doing laundry, a week helping the builders, a week in the kitchen, a week cleaning floors, a week gardening, a week farming, all sorts.

It's a really wholesome way of life.

You can't smoke weed openly, no, but there's loads of it on all the kibbutz I worked on.

It's not a cult. It's a working holiday really. You don't have to be into Zionism or any of that stuff.

I was planning on probably moving to CA and cutting weed plants if possible but this sounds a lot less kinda lame

This was something I tossed around for a while. It sounds like a wonderful way to live, but I got sidetracked by other things.
