Default Weather?

Well it's officially winter in this part of the world. but is it?

This time of the year it's usually struggling to push double figures yet temps are still in the high teen early 20s with parts of the country experiencing drought conditions.

The question I have is if anyone elses weather is all screwed up?

Snowed twice here in April (it's British summertime), then we had really hot, sunny weather (hotter than Spain and some parts of Africa), then last week we had a hailstorm and now it's sunny again.

This has been a consistent pattern since xmas. We've only received 22mm of rain in this time.....Usually it's 180mm

Anybody who has not already read it, I recommend you read "The Weather Makers" by Tim Flannery. There are some truly alarming things going on with the climate in many places, which translates of course into weather, climate being simply the long term average of the day to day weather.

I live in San Francisco. We don't do seasons here. It's an emotional weather report and everyone's bipolar.
