I'd say hes arrogant. He always comes across as very respectful to the places he visits. I actually think his personality is great, he is one of those guys that just doesn't hold back with his opinion. No Reservations is a superb show.

Whatever his new show is called is great too. I don't see why he made a new one though, since it's almost exactly the same thing as No Reservations.

Talk about Guy Fieri or gtfo of this thread you ****ers.

So am I alone in thinking that Bobby Flay is a mediocre douchenozzle of a chef?

If his new show is on a different channel, it probably has to do with the other channel owning the rights to the program of I had to guess.

Yes. Flay is an amazing chef and cook. Ever seen the dude on Iron Chef? His new show "Beat Bobby Flay" is pretty cool. He competes against a chef having to make their signature dish. And he wins more often than not.

Giada is like pure cane sugar. You can only take so much. She needs to learn how not to smile all the time. I like seeing her as a judge or guest on other shows, but can't make it through an entire episode of her own cooking show.

Check out Bourdain's "The Layover". It's similar to No Reservations but with a twist - instead of having a long period of time to check out a country, he only has a number of hours to zoom through a city.

Frownland 09-01-2016 10:40 AM

Bobby Flay is one of those guys who brags all the time about how great of a chef he is and when you go to his house to see for yourself, he makes plain ole tex mex. Oh and he adds avocados because he's one of those CRAZY Californians!

And the layover is what I was referring to. It's really not that different.

Plankton 09-01-2016 10:59 AM

I used to like watching Rick Bayless's show "Mexico: One Plate at a Time", and Charlie Trotter's "The Kitchen Sessions".

...and Emeril. I've made many, many Emeril dishes with the daughter when she was a little one. Then there's the Jeff Smith (Frugal Gourmet), Justin Wilson (Louisiana Cookin'), Jacques Pépin (Heart and Soul), and of course Julia Childs shows I'd always catch on PBS. Those were the chefs who blazed the trail for people like Bobby Flay, and all those other celebrity chefs.

Guy Fieri's a poser.

Yes I love him too. I need to watch more of his shows.

What kind of sexist BS is this? So what she smiles alot. She is just one of those type of people that likes to smile. If she didn't smile often, you'd probably say some crap like she needs to learn to smile more. STFU

Speaking of Jamie Oliver, you gotta try this one. It's ridiculously good.
