OMG seriously? Pretty sure it's because I had my Chromebook open and it was draining my internet connection. Yeah it was so laggy to the point that blank and I had to leave because sometimes it would just freeze and then come back a few seconds later.

We left when the game froze and just wouldn't come back. We put up with it for a bit.

**** it. I recorded myself playing a bit of that game months ago for a Let's Play and just never got back to it, but it was fine then. Rather than just give up on the idea I think I'm just gonna do that for horror games, cause I guess I just don't have good enough internet to have my Chromebook open as a light source, or at least not next to my computer. It's ridiculous that a ****ing SNES game would lag at all for any reason though.

Well TBH playing with chat right next to me kind of took away from that sense of isolation that makes horror games actually scary, so it's probably a good idea to go the Let's Play route for those anyway.
