jk everything about this thread deletes the whole purpose of being charitable anyway.

A challenge? Are you for real? Why don't you just do things because that's what feels good or right to you, making it a competition is hella whack.
I need proof that people actually did it. It's meant to push people into doing something nice for the less fortunate.

The purpose of being charitable is up to the person giving. Regardless of the purpose it's still a cool thing to do.

Well, it's not a competition, it's a challenge for people to do something. It's not wack if it inspires people to be charitable. In fact, somebody in your position should be all for anybody being charitable regardless of the intent. So new rule, Mondo doesn't count. Let that ungrateful bastard starve. You know, the guy who has nothing but is still able to spend all of his time on a computer.

I do shit like this enough, I don't need a holiday to do nice things for strangers and others.

Probably not. I personally just think that I'd want somebody to help me in that situation so I help others in that situation.

I dunno, if I'm gonna help somebody, I'd rather do it anonymously. I just can't empathize with them and their situation. I will admit, I do think more about myself than others. The only person I care for is my grandma, because she brought me up. But I'm black and white, and time wasted helping people I don't know or empathize with won't make me feel good at all. Mainly because I just gave money away.

Like, I'll never get that money back. Dude, I could have bought a sandwich for myself but I just gave it to a homeless guy I don't know and now I don't have any money for a sandwich. But I guess I'm supposed to not care or something, because I helped them or whatever.

If nobody wants to do it can we just close this down then? I didn't create it to brag I created it to encourage.

Does it count if I give a bum a 6-pack?

Lucem the thread is fine imo, I doubt some guy who receives a free box of beer from Charles gives a **** if he comes on here and posts about it.
