Higher VG - smoother throat hit and bigger clouds
Higher PG - harsher throat hit, smaller clouds
The more nicotine in it the harsher it will be as well

It will say on the bottle what the VG/PG ratio is. Mine is 80/20 and 3mg nicotine.
