edit: Also have you ever considered growing out your hair to Robbie Basho length? I feel it would go well with the facial hair situation:

I've considered growing my hair out in many different ways but it never seems to want to go along with my plans.

Shave the hipster beard down to an over-sized goatee and some sideburns.

Pretty sure any kind of beard I rock is a hipster beard but I'll take a hard pass on the goattee recommendation, thanks.

All of the angry truck dads (who never use their blinkers and try to kill me) around here seem to ALL have goatees, every single one, so I am staunchly against them as well.

I always trim my mustache somewhat flush with the upper lip. I can't stand it overhanging the lip. Looks too unkempt for my liking. Always gets food and drink in it.
