Even I don't do that. Shirts are shirts but socks are socks. I feel like complete white trash if I wear unwashed socks.

Yeah but you're gonna smell. What if someone visits? Calls at the door? Pizza man? What if it's a hot chick? You want her smelling you all funky, like something that just crawled out of the ... I'm gonna lose here, aren't I?

He said he doesn't want it to shrink. I think he's just lazy though.

Change both every day. Have to. The only time I didn't was when I was overnighting at the hospital and couldn't, but as soon as I got home and had some sleep I showered and changed asap. That is just nasty! Same with washing hair and shaving: gotta do both every day otherwise I feel yuck.

I know it's not me you're trying to talk to with that post. And I'll make the pizza man recite the Green Lantern oath cause you can leave short instructions if you order online. The dude had to read it off his phone but he did it we both had a good laugh and I gave him a big tip. So I don't really care about the pizza man knowing I'm zone-shifted.

I'm lazy about shaving but I take long showers and wash my hair everyday and know how to fend off the smegma. A little shirt with no actual grime buildup ain't gone kill nobody.

Oh but my sweatpants are probs nasty and I'm ashamed of that but I'm lazy.

Trollheart 09-04-2017 03:16 PM

It is you I'm talking to. "Round the house clothes", indeed! So if you have to nip out to the shops, you'll change into clean, freshly laundered ones? Give me a break.

I don't live within walking distance of any stores at all unless I want to make a two hour trip. I got a bike, but that's still a pain in the ass so I wait till I'm going to or from work. I don't go out much in case you haven't noticed. My shirts don't get much use tbh cause...

Spoiler for hide your eyes kids NSFW I guess:
I spend most of my time at home naked.

Cuthbert 09-04-2017 03:32 PM

Your closest shop is an hour's walk?

45 minutes but yeah and it's along this really busy road with no sidewalk and it's a pain unless you just really need something. American cities were designed with cars in mind, so our distances are generally greater for things.

You remind me of someone I read about once who answered the question "How often do you shower?" with "Once a week: I never go out." That's not the point. Don't you feel manky? And someone can always call at the door. What about those nice Jehovah's Witnesses? What if, on his way home, Spiderman happened to call in?

You are truly disgusting. I hope you live alone. And preferably near no other houses.

Unless there is some other issue involved and we're talking about plain laziness then yeah I don't understand that. Having a nice shower and putting on clean clothes can do a lot for your mood. I don't like feeling unclean, even if I never went out I wouldn't just live in my own filth just because I'm not gonna see anyone.

The Batlord 09-04-2017 05:45 PM

Meh. I keep clean, I just don't worry about my Around the House shirt.

yeah that's what happens in the south and in rural areas but most american cities have a decent walkability score.

This is me too. I only take a shower in the morning but if I go out and it's warm (yes, sometimes even in Ireland it gets warm) and I come home sweaty I'll definitely put on deodorant and change my shirt at the least, maybe my socks. Feeling dirty, sweaty, sticky is not only uncomfortable and completely avoidable, it's a discourtesy to others who may have to smell your stink. Go to the ****ing launderette if you don't want to wash the thing, but for the love of all that's good, let it see some sort of soapy water, even if you have to handwash it!

Apart from any other considerations, it can't be healthy.

Well, it's great to meet someone else who is from the Home Counties, England's green and pleasant land, etc, etc.

If you feel inclined you can:
i) read this guide:- http://www.musicbanter.com/introduct...sicbanter.html
ii) introduce yourself by opening a thread here:- Introductions - Music Banter

Another option is to just start posting away. You may notice that Batlord has over 24 000 posts to his credit, so you'd better get busy if you want to catch him up!

Also ensure you catch him and freeze him in Carbonite. :D

Same but for much longer. I am going to get a boxspring soon but I still want it to be kind of low. I prefer being closer to the ground.
