When peanut butter crackers go stale they taste nasty. And what if you have one of those health bars with nuts in it and you suddenly discover while locked away in some cabin or underground bomb shelter that you are allergic to almonds, you basically screwed at that point.

And none of us have any food allergies. Sherri is allergic to cats though. I haven't stockpiled any of them accordingly.

for natural disasters.... not really :/ i only keep about a weeks worth of food here because the food stores are 10-20 miles away. i think things would be okay here, the family has two ponds to use water from. would have to make some awesome water cleaning thing though.we are 280 something feet above sea level here too so im not too sure how flooding would work.
