People You Love

:D I had to, TrollHeart.

I LOVE the guts of:

Sandra Bullock

Keanu Reeves

Johnny Depp

Jennifer Lawrence

Thelonious Monkey

1blankmind

Trollheart

There are MANY more, though.

By the way, I really don't hate the guts of Ben Stiller; he just really, really annoys me. I hope we're cool, Neapolitan. :D

She is. I met her, and she is lovely. A lot shorter than you would think, and twice as pretty. And man, can she sing!

Of course.
PandAmonium Pale Ale. :p:

Well, I can fix that! I'll be grooving on over to Ireland and the UK the end of the year or early 2018. We'll have that beer then!

Good to hear that. Unfortunately, as people here will tell you, I can seldom if ever get out of the house, due to caring for my sister. Still, maybe we can arrange something, though it won't be possible to be in the evening.

I read an interview with her about the cancer she overcame recently and about how she was always prone to depression. I felt sad reading it, because someone as nice as her don't deserve so much weight on her shoulders. I also learned in that interview that she's coming out with a new album, so that's great!

I'll definitely send a note weeks in advance.

I better make it in 2018. You have a ton of work left with your, listening to EVERY ALBUM RELEASED THIS YEAR.

I hadn't heard of this lady, so I searched some songs and just watched an interview. She does seem very sweet and very compassionate. Thanks, Mic.

I'm pretty sure Trollheart and me are the only fans in here yet. I found her myself just a handful months ago and I'm already a big fan. If you want to check out some of her music, then several of the early albums are really good.

Yes, the cancer was a scare. Sadly, cancer don't respect personality, as we all know. Anyone can get it, good or bad. Luckily she pulled through. You know her daughter, Bailey, is also a musician? You know, too, that she set up her own record label with Mike?

Cancer sucks pretty bad, in fact.

No I did not know that, so I will have to check out both and see if there's something interesting there.

Label is called Big Moon Records. All her recent albums are on it. They had some fight with Rocket, who wouldn't let them re-release the old albums, or something like that.

I can see on Discogs that it's mostly her own records, but there's a few other things on the label too, it seems.

Maybe I can get some of the CD's I'm having trouble finding directly from her own label, if they still have a box sitting with some old albums somewhere in the corner of the office.

Also; label disputes like that are annoying as hell.
"Can we release these albums?"
"NO"
"Are you going to re-release them?"
"NO"

Countless albums could really use a re-release.

I'd imagine they'd be easy to deal with, and would help you with whatever you needed to purchase.

Just out of curiosity looked up her (I think) last album One Tree Less. Seems her vocals are certainly still strong.

I definitely need to check out her most recent albums. I'm going to start by getting the new one when it comes out.

This song here really has that vibe I love her for in spades. It's from back in the 80's.
