Yeah I don't understand why RE 5 and 6 get **** on. They do exactly what they're trying to do very well and just so happen to be associated with games from a mostly different genre.

Cause Silent Hill at it's best was better than any Resident Evil. Mostly because of Kojima though. I've never played through any of those games though. Wait, no, I've played RE 0, 4 and 5.

Lucem, you're right, it's silly to talk about what I would or wouldn't do IRL. Glad you brought it up. Maybe you should write an instrumental about it. I recommend a piano paired with a clarinet. With ambient sounds of you hanging from your shower curtain you ****ing failure.

That's exactly why though. People didn't want action games fro RE they wanted horror games. Maybe if they were just spin offs it'd be fine, but imagine if the next Mortal Kombat acted more like Super Smash Bros. Could be a good game, but would probably piss most people off for not being an arcade style fighter like they want from MK.

I think RE 5 and 6 are pretty weak as pure action games too. Compare them to old RE games and they're not very good. Compare them to games like Gears of War and they're not very good either. I'm not even really a fan of the older RE games, but RE6 was a disaster in my eyes. RE Revelation was somewhat better, but still had more crappy stages than good ones.

I never played 6 but I got enjoyment out of 5. Mostly from co-op though.

Video games typically have fictional characters.

Are they the only medium which contains fictional characters?
