This thread made me remember getting in trouble for routinely trying to drink hot sauce out of the bottle as a child. (I also loved drinking margarita mix and would climb up on top of the fridge to steal it) I think it made me feel sophisticated and grown up, or something..? Like I was drinking a forbidden elixir.

The closest I ever came to drinking hot sauce out of the bottle as a kid was when my mom would pour hot sauce on my tongue when I said a bad word. Irish Catholics are some mean parents.

My parents would actually use mustard of all things, because I had this intense fear of certain condiments; I'd howl and scream and cry.

When I would swear as a kid, my mom would wash my mouth out with soap and my dad would teach me how to say something 100 times more mean without swearing.

im baking a large chicken breast in the oven at 375 degrees temperature for 50 mins. At 25 mins into the bake, i fill the chicken over onto the other side, to tr to bake evening. then use a mixture of sriracha and BBQ sause :) nom nom |

Sriracha has too much damn garlic in it. Pretty much overpowers all of the other flavors IMO.
I love garlic fwiw. Just don't drown my heat with it. |
I enjoy sriracha but I prefer the traditional version with the peppers that you dish out with a spoon.
