I'd downgrade to the big bottle of Louisiana. Still dirt cheap but still choice and you don't feel guilty drenching your fried chicken.

I just wanna make myself clear to avoid disappointment that Louisiana isn't amazing but it's solid and cheap. It's much better than Texas Pete but not on the same level as Cholula. If I could only have one hot sauce it would be Louisiana simply because it's good enough and you're not wasting money when you drench something in it.

Definitely agree that Louisiana isn't anything special but it's a decent hot sauce which falls somewhere in-between a top-notch hot sauce like Cholula and a basic hot sauce like Texas Pete.

I can’t believe I’ve been missing out in the hot sauce thread for all this time.

I’ve tried loads but always go back to franks does anyone have any recommendations I can get in the UK?

Oh I love Cholula! I’ve tried the original and chipotle but not sure if the supermarkets here have the chilli garlic, I’ll need to have a look for it. It sounds so good.
