I think I’m kind of in denial about suffering. I mean I know but I still haven’t really looked it deep in the eyes. Like as my body degenerates my mind considers it a personal indignity instead of something all living things must endure if they don’t die quickly.

I’m scared of the political trend to move medicine away from pain relief. I think that the medical community is starting tomove too far in the other direction because they’ve been unfairly blamed for the opioid crisis.

I also think claiming weed provides real pain relief is asinine. You can’t replace opioids with weed. People who say that are full of ****.

Nah my willingness to go with it is informed by my awareness of my inability to prevent it. Just saying that while I have a preference, I'm just going to leave it up to chaos instead of taking control of how I die via suicide.
