It matters to me. I ****ing hate being broke and doing back breaking work.

Plus, some rich people get like that. Maybe even probably more rich people than poor people but most rich people actually aren’t suicidal and many sort of enjoy life.

Comfort convenience and distraction make a difference for most people.

I did a quick look for data on that. 45-54 are peak suicide years (in America- globally it looks like 25 is prime time to suicide) but I can’t find the data that contradicts my theory that most of these are people (like myself) who are financially ****ed for whatever reason. Going broke ass poor af is ****ing way worse when you’re older. It’s so goddamn insurmountable.

Nothing's worse than feeling worthless while not being able to afford some carne asada fries to drown your sorrows. Well, there is worse, but you know what I mean.

They're pretty overrated compared to tortas, tacos, etc, but yes.
