I'm not a prepper or survivalist, but I like to amass knowledge that would help me if a bad scenario ever came about.

And you aren't amassing dildoes? Just imagine how many cigarettes you could sell them for if the worst ever happens. Especially if they're my dildoes.

I think that the used dildo market will rapidly decline in the wake of the **** hitting the fan.

Just imagine how hard it will be to find willing gays who aren't selling that **** for way above current market value. The women will clearly always be a seller's market, assuming they're even given the option to sell.
