I always thought it was Parma ham that could only be made in parma , I had no idea it applied to Parmesan too.Mind you most of it is made in Reggina so they call it Parmesan Reggina so it`s probably not breaking any rules.

Yeah, it's the same with ham.
I think you're right with "Parmesan Reggina". And the original cheese from Parma is f***ing expensive, I rather buy the faked one.
Or I eat the self-made cheese from my italian relatives. It's awesome.
Hmmm, I just tried to imagine the cheese-selling Mr Hatemonger.
