They say the more confusing the company jargon, the more dishonest they are.

I think it’s curious. Don’t read it, then.

Sotheby’s found that the acquisition of stock by members of a wolf pack could be a threat to the corporation based on a pattern of behavior the court described as “conscious parallelism.” The same analysis may also justify a wolf pack clause in a poison pill.
It seems obvious to me that it’s defending corporate bosses the right to squelch objections raised by their shareholders but the language is nuts.

That's specifically written to be read by lawyers, therefore, they can use jargon that only lawyers understand. If they wanted to use plain english, the article would be longer--substantially longer possibly.

My dad is a surgeon, and I can show you articles from JAMA (Journal of the American Medical Association) that are just as obfuscated.

It’s not especially hard to understand.

I don't understand your point. You still have to "understand it" though. The target audience probably uses that terminology as often as they use the bathroom and can skim that article.

The language is more colorful and poetic than I expected.

Don't be a dick. You expect us to read the whole thing, then figure out what exactly it is you consider "odd"? **** that.

Not obvious to me. What have wolves to do with it?
