Software To Burn DVD's

Does anyone know of any good, free software to write movies onto blank DVD's?

I usually use Freemake Video Converter. My complaint is that it hard-codes the subtitles. I use Windows 10.

I've used Windows Movie Maker before. It doesn't come with Windows 10, but you can still download it and use it for free. You can also burn a DVD from Windows Media Player. Also, if you want something more robust for movie editing, you can download the entire suite of Adobe CS2, or just Adobe Premiere from here:

Adobe software and other downloads

You just need to register and log in.

I too, would like to burn some DVDs. Tried it once on I think Movie Maker, put the disc into the DVD player and it didn't read. I was really disappointed.

To burn DVD's what?

I use Freemake, don't care about subtitles. I find it great. Just be careful when you're installing as there's a lot of ****ware you just don't want. Check no boxes and watch everything that goes by. It is however free and other than the ****ware I can recommend it.

I burn MKV's all the time to blank DVD's. Freemake Video Converter accepts all kinds of formats [MKV, AVI, WMV, MP4, etc.] and converts them to w/e is needed to put them on a disc before it burns them. It is great, but like I said, unless you pay for an upgrade pack, it will hardcode the subs. Other than that, I love it. For some reason, I had to find an older version b/c the latest release of it wouldn't work with my PC.
