Yeah so if it happened in the 70s and you waited till me too to say something then i feel like it's at least partially your fault you didn't get justice.

The Batlord 06-09-2022 09:36 AM

Get raped and see how you feel.

jwb 06-09-2022 10:02 AM

I did have a close call with that pedo and i didn't report him. If he went on to molest someone else that is partially my fault.

The Batlord 06-09-2022 10:28 AM

Alright so let's blame you and ignore the pedo's responsibility for trying **** kids.

jwb 06-09-2022 10:37 AM

Nah i said partially

The pedo is who he is. If you decide to keep your mouth shut that has the consequence of letting a predator go free, which is immoral.

The Batlord 06-09-2022 10:56 AM

No no we're taking your approach and only mentioning the weakness of the case against the perpetrator and concentrating on the moral weakness of the victim, cause that's what's really important.

jwb 06-09-2022 12:02 PM

The weakness of the case was relevant to why he got let off - which is where this conversation started.

As far as i know, the allegations he actually went to court for were more recently (2004 or something) like rubber soul said. The majority of the allegations from the 60s, 70s, 80s etc actually came out after the testimony of that case went public. If Cosby did rape all these women, the weakness of the case is due largely to the decades of silence. That doesn't mean he's any less of a rapist if it did go down like that. But it's not clear what actually happened because the evidence is largely long gone.

Yes rape cases are notoriously hard to prosecute because without an immediate rape kit there tends to be little to no evidence and traumatized rape victims tend to be "shy" about reporting their attackers even when they're not rich and powerful people who can drag their name through the mud for scumbag to jeer at. This can't be your first time being made aware of this.

jwb 06-09-2022 06:43 PM

I'm sure people have reasons not to report but the problem with that is I'm not %100 sure that what they said even happened because of that lack of evidence where as it seems to be taken for granted he serially raped like 50 women based on hear say. Even if there was a history of it being reported or people pressing charges back then, that would tell us more circumstantially even without a rape kit necessarily.

Rubber soul said we turned a blind eye... Correct me if I'm wrong but the 2004 allegations were the first public hint of any of this. I could be wrong but i don't see anyone who actually alleged anything publicly or pressed charges before that incident.

Are you ****ing kidding me? Do you even know what the 70's were like? Women were still able to be raped by their husbands/partners up until 1993 nationwide in the US.

"Prior to 1975, Defendants could attack an alleged victim’s credibility by presenting evidence of the victim’s sexual activity. The public humiliation and embarrassment of having their sexual history dragged out in court became a strong incentive for victims not to report sex crimes."

Tell me what it's like for women who've been raped again? And what it takes to report it?

Bill Murray is accused of paying female movie staffer $100,000 'after he kissed her body, pinned her down and straddled her, leaving woman unable to move': Funnyman was branded bully by Geena Davis last week

Queen Boo 10-11-2022 12:22 PM

Yeeeeeah honestly I can't say this is too surprising considering the domestic abuse stuff and the horrid way he treated Lucy Liu on the set of Charlie's Angels.

It's been well known that Bill Murray is a piece of sh*t for a while.

Yeah news to me. I knew that his dick was messed up from an infection he got when he was injecting it with viagra (it's the final stage of your dick being bad according to cumtown, where I get all my info on these things: it's when the pills no longer work and you have to stick a needle in it to jolt it to life, pulp fiction style) and it became not just completely unusable but more of a hole than a protrusion, if you will...

But the cumboys never said anything about the balls...

SGR 10-28-2022 04:18 PM

People inject viagra straight into their dicks? For real?

The Batlord 10-28-2022 07:02 PM

I'm guessing cocaine abuse gives you limp dick.

Not sure how this guy was ever deemed interesting or talented enough for popular culture considering his output.

As for the accusations, not really a big surprise.
