Not just unique but possibly the only way. I see the only literal alternative being nuclear war that reduces the population and makes cities uninhabitable due to fallout and the destruction of infrastructure necessary to live in a city, which will result in those small-scale societies that will become nationalistic mini-societies just like any small society of the past. Any other idea will simply be a result of civil wars brought about by late stage capitalism and/or global warming... that will likely result in small-scale societies that will become nationalistic mini-societies just like any small society of the past.

So yeah unless we want that to happen we need to get right the **** on with either AI run societies where the decision making is taken out of our hands or human+ where the human race becomes something unimaginable to us right now.

I don't think there's beauty and truth in it in reality. I think it leads to a repulsive society as regards to that society's relationship with the rest of the world and while I think it's highly possible that that's where humanity might end up for any number of reasons I think it will be a horribly depressing waste of humanity's potential as a moral species.

The part of me that sympathizes with the mindset does so because the idea of a society that you feel a part of is beautiful, but only in an alternate reality where human nature doesn't combine this with tribalism, which isn't a thing. Small town America is a wonderful concept, but in practice it's horrendous to anything that isn't small town America.

I don't think you've listened to nearly enough white power rock to get an idea of the mindset of those groups. They pay lip service to their ideals but are just ignorant, uneducated morons who the real Nazis would laugh at for being nothing more than dumb rednecks. What is beautiful about their ideology is a fantasy that they don't even understand.
