Not that you're not ****, but "improved" to me just meant more active. I could imagine many a vote had that background.

Whatever happened to the quality over quantity principle? People should be awarded for spraying their inane thoughts all over the place less. I'm a much worse member now, actually.

That's what I [try] to abide by. I mean, I've been a member for 13+ years and don't have an insane post count like Batty or Frowny. I COULD, if I wanted to, but that just waters down one's value.

I've been a member for 11 years less than you and I very nearly match your number of posts. I'm definitely more of a quantity guy, it seems

There was a time, in the beginning, when ALL posts counted toward ones post count, including LOUNGE and spam crap. I feel like an old man on here LOL, talking about "the old days."

Wait, so I've actually posted way more? It's possible someone explained this to me already, but if so, I've forgotten it. I do feel like I post more about music than I post in the lounge, so maybe my true post count isn't something frightening.

It used to be that ALL posts were counted in your tally.

Then the mods decided that only MUSIC related posts would count, seeing as this is a MUSIC forum. So, members' post counts were slashed, some horrifically.

BUT, the MEMBER JOURNAL loophole has allowed people to post basically ANYTHING and have it count towards their tally.

I'm no rocket scientist [or AM I?! dun dun dun], but mods, correct me where I'm wrong on this. Because I'm sure I'm wrong about some part of it LOL.
