^ Well, you're not missing out on much. I first saw one when I was about 35 years old and it's surprising how quickly curiosity turns into disgust. That's why I will not be clicking on Trollheart's link, thank you very much.

It's almost worse that they can't fly particularly fast, because while they're fast enough to escape death if given a few seconds head start, the site of a flying cockroach anti-majestically rising into the air with all the horror of worms in animal excrement will make you recoil in panic so that they may very well be able to disappear into the gap of a cupboard.
