Quality? Quality? The word quality has nothing to do with sports, except within the sport itself. It's all about enjoyment. Billions of people enjoy sports.

We're not talking music or paintings here. It's just ****ing sports. I enjoy them. Lots of people do. Can't speak for a bunch of MB members here who are too cool for them.

Over 160 million people worldwide watched the last Super Bowl. Why? Had nothing to do with quality. It's just enjoyable and fun. (for most)

Oh look, Chula is taking other people's opinions as a personal attack because he disagrees with them. Everybody act surprised.

I enjoy helping you make yourself look stupid so don't knock it.

Swing and a miss Bucky.

Don't worry, I wouldn't have expected you to recognize any kind of personal flaw. That's not your style.

The quality of the entertainment has nothing to do with... the quality of the "enjoyment"? So because 160 million people out of the 7.6 billion around the world briefly tuned in to check out the Super Bowl commercials, it is objectively an enjoyable event for everyone to watch?

I legit don't how to respond to this superior moleman logic.

Nothing wrong with sports.

Some guys are into films, books and 'gaming'.

Some are into sports.

Oriphiel 05-07-2018 04:09 AM

Some.

Edit: Oh wait, no, you're right, Chula's irrefutable math proved that 145 million people have paid to see a game, and therefore 12 billion people over the course of humanity's wacky 100 billion + journey must have at some point stepped into a bar and grill while a game was on, and thus sports are obectively fantabulous.

Not an apt comparison. The physical act of playing an instrument is not really what music is about, whereas the physical act is what people enjoy about sports.
