I'm not posting in this thread for a few days. After all the negativity that's been surrounding me over the last few days I'm only thinking positive thoughts. See how long that lasts....

1. I cancelled Spotify until my next paycheck and I didn't know that they've started playing full-length pop songs as opposed to advertisements now. That's ****ing low.
2. Fruit fly infestation at the office.
3. The Thai boys getting rescued from that cave was soooo anticlimactic.
4. Lotta tedious **** to deal with at work today.

1. An older friend who borders on being a mentor for me has been battling cancer for about 8 years. It's rapidly progressed in the past couple of weeks and it's not looking good. I visited him for what might be the last time this morning.
2. I can't seem to beat this dehydration.
3. **** the sun.
4. I'm really tired.

1. Really sorry to hear that, man. A lot older or just a little? Is he still conscious? Can he talk to you, hear you?

Thanks. He's in his 70s and has lived a full, wild rollercoaster of a life so far. Right now, he can talk but he's really incoherent and isn't aware of most everything going on around him.

1. I got a cut on my right hand in the web part between my pinky and ring finger.
2. It stings.
3. It's from my cooler lid that was broken by a friend I loaned it to.
4. I blame that friend for everything instead of my own clumsiness.
