I saw nothing in any thread that might have caused him to get banned, and I looked in all the usual suspects: Islam thread, news thread, Your Day etc. Nothing. The mystery deepens. Is this a cover-up? The truth will out!

With the renewed sense of civility around here, I guess that could be looked as instigation.

After discussion, OH has been unbanned. It was a 24hr ban anyway so nothing to really get worked up over but it was decided by the mod team that his 14 hour ban was enough to drive home a point.

Also, it was obviously Burning Down who banned him.

If instigation is ban-worthy then half the mod team could have been banned dozens of times over the past few years

Even I would consider that harsh. Not even a warning? I mean, it's not like he called you names, although he did insinuate that Frown's mother still bathes him, and maybe that's information Frown don't want getting out into the public domain so.... :D

Nah, if that was it that's harsh man. Everyone deserves a warning, unless their actual post is so offensive or breaks the rules so blatantly that they're obviously mounting a challenge to the mods to ban them.
