You get over it quick once you're there doing it. Except for my brother but that was a rare thing.

It was no problem for me before the virus. Now I’d really have to steel up. Both the last day I went to work and the last time I went to the doctor which was before the lockdown I was terrified. I mean no exaggeration. Terrified.

Yeah but over here journalists just get called mean names on Twitter. America has problems, but nobody is trying to inject microchips into my skull yet or prevent me from going to Google.

Fair enough.

From my perspective, people at every level of power here are at least trying to do something about the perceived wrongs of American society and life. The successes of Sanders and Yang's campaigns demonstrates that to a point. China scares me more because they could replace America over time on the world stage and institute something much closer to totalitarianism if they have their way.
